My name is Teppo and I am your authorized guide in Helsinki (English and Finnish). I would like to offer you custom-made tours in my hometown. Finland is famous for its design. Helsinki will delight and surprise you with energetic attitude and delicious food.
Helsinki is liberal city and I warmly welcome all LGBTQ friends.
MY BIO
I have been working within tourism industry both abroad and in Finland for the most part of my life. As a tour guide I had unique opportunity to work around Europe as well as in the USA, North-Africa and Asia.
Working as a guide requires adaptation to the ever-changing environment. Quick problem-solving ability is required as well. Upon my return to Finland I wanted to use my travel experiences and headed to work as a product designer in several travel agencies in Helsinki.
I am an authorized Helsinki guide and Chairman of Helsinki Guides Association. I also continue working abroad as a tour leader for finnish groups. Window Seat Travel Trade Journal is the only professional travel magazine in Finland and for them I work as a freelance travel editor. At Perho Culinary, Tourism and Business College I teach and evaluate new guides.
